Mid Illinois Mechanical was founded in 1990 by Doug Dodson, a well-respected fixture in the Central Illinois trades. Doug’s goal was to fill the gaps he saw in the industry with quality work and reliable service. What began as a three-person shop has steadily grown over the last 30 years. Doug’s two sons, Joel and Jeremy Dodson, continued building the strong foundation laid by their father by reinforcing the importance of proving high-quality work with unparalleled customer relationships. Mid Illinois Mechanical features four divisions: Plumbing, HVAC, Process Piping and Site Utilities.
Today, Mid Illinois Mechanical is run by Kyle Richardson, who has worked hand in hand with Joel and Jeremy Dodson in expanding Mid Illinois Mechanical’s team, capabilities, and breadth of operation as a leader in the industry. Kyle shares the same morals and core values as the Dodson’s and will continue Mid Illinois Mechanical’s legacy for years to come.
